Weekend Recap

{Friday}

My friend and I played couples league golf. We joked the whole night about who was the wife and husband ;) Golfing with this girl is so unbelievably fun. 

{Saturday}

 Remember that big family golf tournament I mentioned Friday? Yeah we didn't win :( We had to send the trophy down the road after being a staple on our mantle for the last two years. Whats even worse is we lost by one stroke! But hey it was a good time still but I may have pouted for a while, what can I say, I'm a little competitive. 

After golf we spent the entire day at my parents place playing yard games, card games, and eating their delicious food! I got this good picture of Dixie and J. No he doesn't always wear tanks like these... he was trying to work on his horrid tan lines from working outside all summer. Insert wide eyed emoji here because now his tan lines are even worse. 

{Sunday}

Dixie learned a new trick of blowing kisses :) Dixie has been slower on the milestones which her doctor says she is perfectly in the normal range, just towards the end of the range. So she's finally getting to that age that they start interacting with you and its just so fun! I love this picture of her blowing a kiss to her big sister. 

This is almost too embarrassing to show, but since it took 4 of my precious hours on Sunday I felt it needed to be documented. Below are the midway pictures of my basement... not even the beginning. I  was too embarrassed forgot to take that picture. We never ever spend time in our basement which I'm not sure why, our couch down there is so comfy! But long story short I'm the youngest of three girls, so I get plenty of hand-me-downs. But the last two months both my sisters have moved, so they kept bringing me toys and clothes that they didn't need anymore. Well this summer has been busy so I just kept throwing them in the basement (out of sight out of mind). Well before you know it I could barely walk down to the workout room. So I finally pulled the trigger and went after it. Don't mind the random mattress it is getting donated along with 5 other boxes of toys and clothes. I'm pretty impressed with the end result.

 Sunday night I was off to bed early! What a great weekend. My to do list is a million miles long this morning getting ready for our annual weekend trip down to Iowa for some corn days action! Hope you all had a great weekend.
