{1} Summer! Man oh man has this summer been good to us! We have stayed super busy camping as much as possible and making the best memories (and some not so great ones too). I never grew up camping so this is something completely new to me but I'm finally getting the hang of it! Anyone else love camping too with some tricks I have to do!?!
We've spent lots of time outside in the front yard!

Celebrated Father's Day!
Tried to get a hair cut to decide what to do with these crazy curls! Top layer is curly but not like the ringlets on the bottom! What do we even do?!?!
Celebrated Dixie's 2nd birthday!
Played in our family's annual golf outing, came in 2nd to the rentals. Close but not close enough!
Dixie has been working on her coloring on some lazy Saturday mornings!
And last but not least, have learned to enjoy some sweet treats outside to beat the heat!
Wow! That was a lot of pictures! Needless to say, we've been making the absolutely BEST of summer.
{2} Dixie Ione turns two!
Since day one this girl has been the most content lady out there. She's up for anything! With that, she's also in no hurry to reach some pretty important milestones. With Dixie's low muscle tone she has to work extra hard to get to those milestones so we have been doing physical therapy and occupational therapy for a couple months. It has been AMAZING. This girl is making huge strides, I have no doubt she will be walking soon! Currently Dixie loves her sister most, followed by Mickey Mouse. She either eats everything in sight or nothing at all. No happy medium there. She has mastered saying "no" rather well. She loves to color, play with stickers, and splash around her in water table. Not a fan of strangers or loud noises. Gives the best tight hugs and kisses. Dixie rocks the 2nd percentile for weight and 16th for height. I'm pretty sure she's completely fine just shnuggling for a long time and the girl loves to sleep. We moved Elliot into Dixie's room because Elliot swore she would sleep in her bed as long as she just had someone in her room with her (spoiler alert, didn't work) but they continue to share rooms and there is nothing better (and more frustrating) than hearing those late night giggles when they are supposed to be sleeping. Dixie Ione I love you so fiercely it hurts and I'm so so so glad you've taught me a thing or two about patience and just how dang lucky we are. Here are some pictures of her from the last year!
{3} Pinterest
Four years ago I was obsessed with pinterest, it took up all my time. After I had Dixie I don't know why but I pretty much completely stopped using it. Lately I've been upping my game and going back there to find some good inspiration for food and fashion! I feel like I'm in a total rut for fashion. I need some serious help! I also need some good recipes for zucchini! I have a bunch just waiting to get used from the garden! Any ideas?!?! This is my latest pin here... I mean seriously, lemon monkey bread! Sign me up right now!
{4} Concert Time!
Next weekend my sister and I hit up Florida Georgia Line, Nelly, and Backstreet Boys and to say I'm so excited is an understatement. I can't wait to dust off my cowboy boots to dance the night away, but I'm slightly sad I didn't keep my old Nike Air Force 1's to wear to the concert. Then in September we I'll go stare watch Sam Hunt! I cannot wait!

Man I've found some good products lately! Thanks to my ladies on instagram and blog world. Here are just a few I've been loving this summer!
Apparently this PB comes in multiple flavors, but this is the one that my very limited Target carries. I put it on top of a caramel rice cake. BEST SNACK EVER!
I'm not a fan of black cherry anything, but this baby, she's good! So refreshing on a hot day, just watch out they catch up to you ;)
I got our sun tent at Target. It folds (so hard to do) into a small circle carrying case. This is PERFECT for the summer time for Dixie! Anyone else a sun nazi?! I mean I just hate burns!
I started getting texts from Papa Murphy's. My goodness I knew you could get good deals, but frequent large pizzas for $7 and under! Sign me up. We've been having this once a week and I'm not even sad about it!
I love toner, I don't know why but I just love it. This one is so great and it is oddly moisturizing! I get mine off amazon. It has the tiniest hint of rose. I love it!
Did you know Costco is carrying Halo Top now?! Just this flavor, but it was 4 for $11! Our stores charge $6- $7 for just one!
Another Costco win! This wagon carries so much crap! SO MUCH! It folds up nicely to throw in the back of your car too! I can't even tell you how many times I've thrown in Dixie and piled up everything else around her and toted this somewhere! It is perfection!
